The BTCC is the pinnacle of British Motorsport and draws crowds of more than 20,000 to the circuits, and TV audiences into the millions.
Its a summer tradition with Eurowerks to watch the BTCC and we’ve all got our favourite teams and drivers which, can lead to some heated debates after the door bashing on track has long stopped.
With Oulton Park being our home and local circuit it’ll be rude not to venture down for a day of high octane motorsport action whilst, having a nosey around the paddock at the machinery close up.
Being predominantly VW and Audi car fans it was good to see the likes of the Audi S3, VW CC, competing against the likes of the new BMW 3 Series and Mercedes A – Class.
It wasn’t the greatest watching the crash of Jack Goff in race two and seeing his VW CC looking very sorry for itself but thankfully Jack was fine. Unfortuntely, the car was too badly damaged to compete in race 3.
